Helping you live the life you LOVE!
MaryAnn McDonald specializes in helping her clients resolve internal conflicts and move towards their desired futures. Her unique and diverse background serves her clients well. This background includes a traditional master's degree in counseling psychology, specializing in trauma relief.
She has also studied Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), the Sedona Method, and Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP). She is most impressed with her results from the RIM (Regenerating Images in Memory) process. This comfortable and effective, co-creative approach is based on the client’s imagination and helps unlock emotions and memories for effective relief and healing.
MaryAnn has been interested in self-development for pretty much her whole life. She is a long-time student of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP, the study of subjective experience and how to reprogram such experience) and its application to success coaching. She has studied under Jack Canfield (co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series) and presents success principles, largely based on Jack’s work, in workshops and through her coaching practice.
MaryAnn has found Qigong (Chinese medical philosophy and the practice of specific active exercises and meditation to improve health) to be particularly fascinating and is currently applying Qigong to help others heal themselves more effectively. And more recently, MaryAnn joined Mary Morrissey’s Life Mastery Institute as a DreamBuilder coach, helping her clients discover, clarify, and build their dreams toward living the life they LOVE!
